You're Moving Fast, But Are You Moving Forward?

Looming deadlines. Uninspiring projects. It’s hard to stay upright against autumn’s blustery winds. And even easier to lose sight of the big picture while your spinning in circles during this busy season. This month, Editor’s Edge challenges you to ask all the right questions to get your business moving in the right direction. Fret not, we’ll provide the guidance to elevate your brand and stand against the odds. Your flyaways will be tamed in no time!

GALAS

&

GATHERINGS

"Between easing down to the Wizard of Oz-themed Knot Gala or raising a glass on a rooftop for the New York City E3 gathering, my evening attire (and Spanx!) had a workout this fall. Laughing with old friends and (finally) meeting new ones in person made it all worth it!🍸”

- Kristi Drago-Price

"I chose to work with Kristi from Editor’s Edge for our new website because of her knowledge and length within the industry. I needed somebody with an edgy vibe who really understood my place in the market and could help me stand out to reflect my differences.

We had done a deep dive together to define my ideal clients, unique selling points, and brand strategy. Because of that work, they were able to create visual and verbal messaging for a specific target audience for the site.

Kristi has the ability to blend editorial, fine art, color – and my spice! She knew how best to show my personality through my work, making me both relatable and professional. Kristi’s background as an editor was such an asset – she not only understands website and flow, but also writes captivating copy and picks beautiful imagery that best represents me and my brand."

THE PERFECT IMPERFECT

"I remember my longtime friend of almost 20 yrs., John Dolan, telling me an idea he had for a book while on-set back during my Condé Nast days. It brought me great joy and pride to celebrate the release of his long-awaited The Perfect Imperfect.”

“The new website perfectly captures the #bethchapmanstyling experience: providing expert knowledge, high-touch service, and meticulous attention to ensure a couple’s day – and a bride’s gown! – are smooth and flawless.”

Beth Chapman, why Editor’s Edge for your new website?

“When it was time to focus on taking my brand to the next level, collaborating with Kristi and her Editor’s Edge team was a GIVEN. Kristi guided me through the process of honing my brand message, sharpening my vision, and bringing it all to life! The opportunity to truly focus on describing my work and sharing what we do was a gift.”

Paul Morse, what brought you to the Edge?

“Trust! My work is based on it. Simply defined as the firm belief in someone's ability, trust is an experience I share with my subjects, clients and any creative team I am a member of. From weddings to memorial services, it is an honor to continually be trusted by the Bush family to capture their family's life events. In turn, I continually trust Editor’s Edge to pinpoint the best in my 17 yrs of commercial and wedding work to spotlight and clarify my vision."

An ironic thing happened this summer. Back in August, I attempted some work/life balance with a family vacay to Disney World. (Which we all know is a lot more work than…actual work!) While we were there, I took my son on the Carousel of Progress.

THE KNOT GALA

Oh what a night! Amy Shey Jacobs, of Chandelier Events, took the wedding industry on a loving trip around the world…and a rotating platform for the ultimate 360 video selfie. Just call us “Chandelier’s Angels!”

🙌 to The Knot team and all their talented collaborators.
